Campus Meditation

Meditation lies at the core of the Buddhism and is a direct path to freedom and enlightenment. The prevailing spirit of Buddhist teachings and meditation practices focus on helping ourselves, regardless of our current situation. It is this Buddhist belief that common ordinary beings can, through the practice, liberate themselves and unfold into their true perfect nature.
We sometimes lack full trust in ourselves and, as a result, all too easily relinquish our trust and willpower to outside agents. Meditation practice challenges this lack of trust and self-discipline.
Any sincere and serious practitioner of Buddhist meditation soon realizes that we cannot sit in meditation for long without ultimately accepting our lives and the world, for meditation is a world-affirming and life-renewing experience. Beginners follow the three guidelines: simplicity, clarity and spiritual strength. Students learn to become more aware and peaceful and develop unconditional love and acceptance through passed down Ancient Wisdom Practices. Anyone with willingness to help themselves work through areas of fear, anxiety, depression with a bit of determination can learn to overcome these paralyzing mental formations that limit our joy and happiness.

Interfaith Dialogue

We hope to open up lines of communication between different faith traditions so that we may cultivate Greater Harmony. Through dialogue we hope to help people move beyond fear that may have arisen due to lack of understanding and attempt to find common ground amongst different faith traditions. We must learn to have a greater understanding that at the core of our beliefs we all want to be happy.
